Presentation of IVO4ALL during the EU’s youth Ministers Councils, on May 22th 2017 in Brussels

On 22 May 2017, the EU’s youth ministers met in Brussels. The main themes of this Council were the involvement of young Europeans, dialogue with young people and future European cooperation in the field of youth.

The French representative of the Minister in charge of youth recalled the importance of youth mobility in Europe, notably through the exchange programs (Eramus +), but also through international volunteering. He illustrated his remarks with the IVO4ALL project and underlined that this project was born thanks to the collaboration of 5 countries and that at the end of the 2 years of project 200 young Europeans (JAMO – Young with fewer opportunities) took part in this experiment.

Finally, the representative encouraged Member States to take up the issue of the civic service at the international  in order to transcribe this model to the 27 member countries.
