In September 2015, the Department of Youth and National Civic Service approved the first 3 projects submitted in September in the framework of the IVO4ALL special call. Globally, 20 first volunteers will be placed in the following European countries: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, and Hungary.
The Department is launching a new special call for projects that foresees the placement of the remaining 30 volunteers.
First volunteers for 3 projects
The approved projects are the following:
- The project “Mobility without Frontiers” by the organization ACLI (Catholic Associations of Italian Workers) will host 6 volunteers at their charitable institutions based in London, Paris, and Stuttgart, which provide support to Italians abroad.The volunteers will serve at the “Youth Mobility Desks” which provide young Italians with information and orientation on European mobility.
- The project “Youth Action” by the association AMESCI will host 10 volunteers in Spain (Burgos, Valencia), and Hungary (Hadjubagos). The volunteers will participate in the implementation of an information campaign aimed at providing young people with information on the opportunities offered by international and local volunteering.
- The Project “New International Opportunities” will be managed by the Province of Foggia. Four volunteers will be placed in Czestockowa, Poland where they will support the receiving organizations in managing the health and community centre and in setting up cultural and entertainment activities for target beneficiaries.
